Exhibition of the "Greenhouse market-gardening of Russia - 2010" (Moscow).

The most cold resistant hybrids of the season - tomatoes Jaffa F1 and Tveria F1.

Best new season 2009 - tomato Rozoviy Spam F1.

Opening of the 2009 season - carrot Nantik Rezistafly F1.

THE MOST COLD RESISTANT HYBRIDS OF THE SEASON are TOMATOES JAFFA F1 and TVERIA F1

JAFFA F1
Average, determinate. The vegetation period is 100-105 days. Intermediate inflorescence. The first inflorescence is formed above 5-6th leaf. Fruits are round-shaped, compact, smooth, of a bright red color, and mass 200-240 g, with high contents of sugar and other dry substances. Recommended for fresh consumption and all types of processing. Hybrid is heat resistant. High marketability and excellent transportability. Resistant to verticillium and fusarium wilt (Fol). Harvest productivity 10-12kg/m2.

TVERIA F1
Average ripe hybrid, indeterminate. The vegetation period is 105-110 days from germination to full ripeness and fruit maturity. The first inflorescence is formed above 6-7th leaf; following inflorescences are formed 1-2 leaves in-between. The fruit is round-shaped, compact, smooth, of dark red color, and mass 250-300 g. Wonderful taste quality. Heat and drought (lack of moisture) resistant. High marketability and transportability. Increase resistance to verticillium (VaVd) and fusarium wilt (Fol) as well as bacterial spots (Xcv). Harvest productivity 11-12 kg/m2.

Conclusions derived from experiment results from the city of Zaleshiki, Ternopil's region, Ukraine.
"…Adverse cultivating conditions had similar effect on all of the hybrids, however only a few hybrids were able to sustain their productivity in such difficult settings. Only those able to sustain their productivity were continue to be cultivated… A special emphasize is to be given to Jaffa F1 and Tveria F1 hybrids, these two were able to resist big temperature drops in the middle of October and continued its productivity until beginning of November."

In the countryside of Krivyanskaya, Rostov's region, Russia, the first massive tomato harvest collection was possible at 140th day.
"…During the vegetation period, from seed planting until the fruit collection, the climate conditions were harsh and unpleasant. It was necessary to give artificial lighting to the plants due to the two moths of cloudiness and absence of sunlight. During the nighttime the temperatures were dropping and we had to cover the plans with a second plastic layer, which reduced amount of the light received by the plants even more. After that the plants had to struggle with the major temperature shifts occurring between the day and night time. To sum up, the cultivation period was filed with concern and difficulties. Almost all hybrids had produced their first fruits in the beginning of June on the 115th day after planting. The first massive collection was massive at 140th day, which is kind of late for our region…" We also want to emphasize that the most sufficient harvest productivity was received from indeterminate hybrids Jaffa F1 and Tveria F1.
