Seeds of the new tomato hybrids from SEMCO-JUNIOR in the Baikal region, 2011.

The climatic conditions in Eastern Siberia is very complex. Weather often presents a variety of surprises. As an example, this year, at the end of April fell so much snow that buried even cars. To say nothing about plants! Despite difficult weather conditions to gather a good harvest objective remains important. The main hope of obtaining a stable crop in the first turn this year, were placed on the hybrids of tomato F1 Mathias, F1 Moonlight, F1 Malika, as a trusted, reliable option. For variety, taste and aesthetic feeling (which is called for "the soul"), we chose the hybrid F1 Pink Spam, F1 Cherry Ira, F1 Cherry Mio and cocktail F1 Forte Mare. We are very pleased that in this season, these hybrids did not disappoint us and showed a great results.
The winner of this year was the large-fruited indeterminate hybrid F1 Matias. Plants were formed in the two stems. It should be noted the excellent marketability of fruit, total lack of propensity for cracking, excellent flavor. With an average weight of 250-300 g of fruit, some specimens reached 600 g.
Hybrid F1 Malika showed itself at it's best once again, compared to the others; was less time consuming when grown. Not only less time consuming, but also demonstrated excellent yield! Summing up, it is the most advantageous compare to other hybrids grown by us, and the taste was excellent. The fruits are quite large, weighing 200-300 g, some specimens reached 350 g, while possessing good marketability, and taste. The fruits of this hybrid resistant to cracking, which is important in our conditions at abrupt changes in temperature and humidity. This problem has been discovered in F1 Partner Semco, which needs much more attention. In tough climatic conditions F1 Malika showed excellent resistance to stress. In our opinion, for good and stable yields in the Baikal region hybrid has good prospects.

Tomato Malika F1

We've being growing F1 Moonlight for two years now, and this year we were pleased once again with it. The fruits were obtained as large (180-220 g), yielding only a bit to tomato F1 Malika. F1 Moonlight once again showed a very good marketable surplus of fruits and stress tolerance.
A few words of tomato F1 Pink Spam (F1 Rozovii Spam), which is slightly smaller to the above hybrids in yield, but the taste has no comparason. This is tomato gourmet! We would like to highlight sufficient earliness of this hybrid as well. The only drawback is the poor transportability. Unfortunately, this flaw is very common in most tomatoes with pink fruits.
For the first time we tested hybrid cocktail F1 Forte Mare. It was the most precocious of all our cultivated tomatoes. The fruits are somewhat larger than that of Cherry Group (40-50 g), round shape. Not typical taste, not like any classics or the cherry. It seems that it will be great for canning.
To summarize, tested new hybrids showed a great results in our not ordinary weather conditions. Due to the successful breeding work we have a great selection of hybrids to produce great harvests.
