The Newspaper-Almanac "Novyi Zemledelec" (The New Farmer) has been in print since 1995 with the circulation of 30 000 copies. A new and improved version of "Noviy Zemledelec" (The New Land Cultivator) has been offered to the readers on January 1, 2004.
     The publishers decided not to change the original style and have kept most of the sections that were included in former publications: "Seed Fashion Salon," "Best Three of the Season," "Best Hybrids, Best Results," consultations in regard to chemical protection of the plants, information acquiring articles about varied plant cultures and their wild comparatives.
     However the publishers have included some innovations as well. The new version of the publication has obtained a colorful cover and 24 pages conveniently fastened by staple clips for the convenience of our readers. "Semco-Junior", (a closed joint-stock company) and "The Publishing House of Centrsouza" have become the founders of the new edition. Chief editor of the new publication is Victor Stepanenko.
